Boston Tea Party to close on Whiteladies Road ahead of move into bigger cafe

By Martin Booth  Saturday Nov 14, 2020

Boston Tea Party are preparing to leave their cafe on Whiteladies Road – with expansion plans in mind.

It comes as the Bristol-based chain also closed their cafe in Clifton Village, which is set to reopen as Eat a Pitta.

The two BS8 BTPs will combine into one larger cafe in 2021 within the former River Cottage.

The cafe on 97 Whiteladies Road used to be a record shop, with huge vinyl records still making up the design of one of the walls inside. Outside, a sign informs that the site is to let with Insight.

BTP brand manager Anita Atkins told Bristol24/7 that she is “super excited, the site is fantastic and will be a brilliant BTP. Covid has delayed things a little but we start work in the new year.”
