“Roni Size is one of Bristol’s proudest exports – a true architect of sound. We couldn’t think of a more iconic artist to headline the first Lake Paradiso,” said Luke Hasell, festival director at Lake Paradiso.
Size added: “Bristol’s music scene shaped who I am, so any chance to represent that at a festival like Lake Paradiso is something I take seriously.
“It’s not every day you get to share a lineup with legends like Huey Morgan, Norman Jay, and Trevor Nelson – people who’ve each played a massive part in the UK’s musical story.
“I’m proud to be part of that and to bring some of that Bristol energy to the stage.”
This year’s festival will also shine a spotlight on Temwa, the Bristol-based charity working with remote communities in Northern Malawi.

As the official charity partner of Lake Paradiso Festival 2025, Temwa brings a powerful reminder of the role music can play in global connection and grassroots impact.
Jo Hook, co-founder and director at Temwa, said: “It means a lot to be Lake Paradiso’s charity partner.
“We’ve always believed in the power of people coming together to make a difference and this feels like a great fit.”
Since launching in 2003, Temwa has helped train over 6,200 farmers in sustainable agriculture, planted more than 1.6 million trees and improved access to education, clean water and HIV support across Northern Malawi.
Festival-goers will have the opportunity to learn more about Temwa’s work and contribute through fundraising activities on site.
