Soundwave Croatia competition
Bristol label Bedmo Disco Records are offering one lucky winner a pair of tickets to Soundwave Croatia, one of Europe’s most magical summer festivals.
Held at a beautiful site on the Dalmatian Coast – complete with its own private bay for swimming – Soundwave Croatia has a well-earned reputation as one of Europe’s friendliest festivals. It was previously named one of Europe’s 10 Best Festivals by The Independent, and returns on August 6-10 for its seventh instalment.
This year’s event looks stronger than ever. Alongside the usual mix of live performances, DJ sets and boat parties, a crack team of international street artists will also be on hand to give walls and on-site apartment buildings a truly memorable makeover.
The lineup of DJs and live acts is impressive, too, with headliners including Jay Electronica, Slum Village, Mala, Mr Scruff, Andreya Triana, Craig Charles, LTJ Bukem, Fatima, Alexander Nut and Brazilian drum and bass legend DJ Marky.
Marky is also joining forces with Bristol’s own Bedmo Disco – mainstays of the festival for the last six years – to put on a very special boat party with a twist. Instead of dropping drum and bass, Marky will indulge his love of disco and boogie, ably assisted by the Bedmo Disco crew. Taking place on Monday, August 10, it looks likely to be a festival highlight.
