Music video shot inside Wake The Tiger

By Rachel Sutherland  Sunday Feb 19, 2023

Wake The Tiger features in a newly released music video.

The early 2000s-style video for Eva Lazarus‘ song The Party is Over was shot when the amusement park on Albert Road was closed to the public.

In the video Eva Lazarus, who dons multiple bold outfits and looks, is transported from her house to a mystical world.

The singer, songwriter and MC called the venue “the perfect place” for her latest music video, which was shot by Turbo Shrimp.

She said: “When we came up with the storyline for the music video, Wake the Tiger seemed like the perfect place for the second half of the video.

“It’s the dreamscape, fantasy, Alice in Wonderland, the escape from reality, it’s mind blowing and it’s almost like something you’d only see in your dreams.

“We were so lucky we got to shoot in there when it was closed. It looks like a scene from an early 2000s Hype Williams music video, it’s mad.”

Dirty Dike produced the song which is taken from Eva Lazarus’ album Brandy Kisses.
