Huge new collaboration mural unveiled

By Martin Booth  Friday Sep 26, 2025

Some of the most recognisable buildings around Park Street feature in a new collaborative mural by Jody and Andy Council.

The new artwork on Charlotte Street was commissioned by Urban Creation and is on the side of one of their student properties.

It’s also only a stone’s throw from a previous piece by Jody called The Florist, with the artist calling this updated version “a remix with a twist” of the now-obscured original work.

The bunch of flowers in Jody’s original has been transformed by Andy into a colourful collection of buildings that include the Wills Memorial tower, Cabot Tower, City Hall and the Lord Mayor’s Chapel.

The best view of the new mural is from Boston Tea Party, whose garden is now overlooked by the figure holding the ‘flowers’.
