Wiper and True joins the Better Business network

By Bristol24/7  Friday May 23, 2025

Independent Bristol craft brewery Wiper and True has joined Bristol24/7’s Better Business network, strengthening its commitment to sustainability, community and local collaboration.

Founded in 2012, Wiper and True began as a nomadic brewing project before establishing its own site in St Werburghs.

In 2022, the brewery opened a new state-of-the-art, world-class facility and taproom in Old Market. The space reflects the company’s values of inclusivity and environmental responsibility, designed with a strong focus on accessibility and sustainability. Here, you will find them obsessing over creative recipes, brewing with skill and care for balanced, refined and refreshing drinking.

Better Business
Better Business is an initiative launched by Bristol24/7 to help businesses thrive, whilst creating a positive impact on Bristol and the people who live here.

Wiper and True is known for its thoughtful and innovative approach to beer. The brewery places a strong emphasis on community engagement; regularly collaborating with its annual charity partner, Caring in Bristol, as well as other like-minded businesses, and hosting inclusive events where everyone is welcome.

Joining the Better Business network is a natural step for Wiper and True, aligning with its ongoing efforts to build a purpose-driven business rooted in sustainability and social impact.

“We’re really proud to join a network of like-minded businesses who care about Bristol’s future as much as we do,” said Michael Wiper, founder of Wiper and True.

“Being part of Better Business gives us a great platform to collaborate, share knowledge, and support meaningful change in our city.”

As part of the network, Wiper and True aims to deepen its community connections and contribute to Bristol24/7’s mission to create positive social impact across the city.
