Two high-profile female business leaders join impact investor
Resonance, a Bristol-based impact investment firm, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of two high-profile entrepreneurs to the investment committee of its Community Developers Fund.
The fund supports communities in developing and owning income-generating assets such as affordable housing, leisure facilities and renewable energy projects.
Joining the committee are Erika Brodnock, a multi-award-winning entrepreneur, philanthropist, and co-founder of AI coaching platform Kinhub; and Verena Hefti, chief executive and founder of social enterprise Leaders Plus, which supports working parents into senior leadership roles.
Erika, who holds fellowships at King’s College London and the University of Exeter, said she was “thrilled” to support Resonance’s mission to provide life-changing homes and services for people in crisis.

She said: “I’m excited to add this role to my wider mission of making a difference in society, and I hope my journey—securing a competitive investment committee role while pregnant and holding a CEO position—will inspire others in the Leaders Plus community to go for opportunities, no matter their circumstances.”
Resonance chief executive Daniel Brewer welcomed the appointments, noting the “wealth of experience in leadership and impact” both female leaders bring to the organisation as it continues to support communities across England.

“I’m thrilled to be able to contribute to Resonance’s mission to provide life-changing homes and support for people facing crisis,” said Erika Brodnock
