By Milan Perera  Friday Feb 28, 2025

A global PR firm whose clientele includes the likes of Google, eBay, Visa and Amazon has appointed new leadership in a bid to expand its business footprint in the region

Grayling, which has its Bristol branch in the Quorum building in Old Market, has seen steady growth over the past few months and expects the recent appointment of its head of South to further bolster its presence in the area.

Grayling South, which comprises offices in Bristol, Birmingham, and Southampton, has welcomed Holly Barber as the new head of the region. Her focus spans from major redevelopment projects to national strategy.

“Our regional network offers unparalleled local insight, enabling us to deliver everything from community and stakeholder engagement on major redevelopment projects to national-level strategic profiling for our clients.”

The Grayling Bristol team moved from their home of 10 years on Baldwin Street to Old Market about a year ago, turning their attention to ramping up regional growth.

The sectors they support across the region include creative communications, from corporate communications and crisis management to consumer brand campaigns, internal communications, and stakeholder engagement.

With a proven track record, having delivered campaigns for brands such as B&Q and The Ivy, Barber will focus on fostering regional growth and maintaining the firm’s reputation for exceptional client service.

Heather Blundell, chief executive of Grayling UK, said: “The promotion of Holly and the growth of our South office demonstrates Grayling’s commitment to growth, diversity, exceptional client service, and advancing regional excellence.

“With this strengthened team, we are well-positioned to continue driving commercial impact and delivering outstanding results for our clients in the South, across the UK, and beyond.”

Other services delivered by Grayling include Grayling Connect and Grayling Media, a service dedicated to external media relations, and IGNITE, a specialist creative team.
