By Matt King  Thursday Feb 20, 2020

Travelwest is the one-stop website for travel information in the West of England, providing information on public transport, walking, cycling, car sharing and electric vehicles as well as providing useful resources for schools, businesses and developers. Travelwest works across the 4 West of England authorities; Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, and Bath and North East Somerset.

Travelwest’s Business Engagement Team in Bristol are funded through the Department for Transport’s Access Fund up until March 2021, and work closely with businesses in Bristol to identify improvements in how their staff travel to work, and for work. The ultimate goal of the team is to increase the number of people walking, cycling, using public transport, and car-sharing in the city. The project has been running for over 10 years and has worked with over 450 businesses, including key employers in the city.
