Who are your Bristol Legends?

By Bristol24/7  Thursday Oct 16, 2025

Nominations are now open for Bristol Legends, a new way for us to celebrate the best of Bristol through our content and a new event next year.

At Bristol24/7, we are always striving to put our city at the heart of everything we do. For more than a decade, we have been celebrating all things local, from independent businesses and restaurants to campaigners, community groups and concerts.

With Bristol Legends, we want to take this one step further. We’ll be highlighting the contributions that individuals, charities, organisations, artists and businesses make on a daily basis, spotlighting them with films, interviews, articles and a first-of-its-kind celebration and awards event at Ashton Gate Stadium on March 6, 2026.

is needed now More than ever
Keep our city's journalism independent. Become a supporter member today.

We’re partnering with the brilliant AntiBanquet team on the event, working together to raise money for vital social impact initiatives, food charities as well as to ensure independent journalism in Bristol can continue into the future.

Attendees can expect a whole night of incredible entertainment, from show-stopping performances to food from one of Bristol’s greatest culinary minds, Josh Eggleton. And if that wasn’t enough, the awards will be rounded up with a party featuring some of Bristol’s best musicians, bands, djs and performers.

To celebrate and uplift the legends that make our city great, we need your help. Nominations are open now for our awards categories, spanning arts, sports, community, food and more.

Each category’s nominations will then be assessed by our hand-picked, expert panels. Some of the brightest lights in their respective fields, they will work with you and your nominations to name this year’s Bristol Legends.

We are asking for nominations in the following categories:

Food & Drink – sponsored by ViFi

Bristol’s varied and creative culinary world makes it a destination within the food and drink sector. We want to highlight the best of the lot, whether it’s your go-to coffee spot, your favourite food shop, greatest pub or the dining spot that makes your mouth water every time.

With clubs like the Bears, City and Rovers, Bristol has no shortage of excellent sporting endeavours. But don’t worry, we don’t want to just focus on these teams. Let us know your favourite Bristol sportspeople, teams, venues and facilities to nominate them for the title of Bristol Sports Legend.
