Return of the Steven Spielberg classic which – for good or ill – kicked off the summer blockbuster industry and provided cinema managers with that evergreen catchphrase: “We’re gonna need a bigger bucket for all this money.” The rubber shark looks ropier with each passing year, but those shocks and jolts still work just fine.
There’s no obvious anniversary-related reason for Jaws to be reissued yet again this year, but it’s very welcome nonetheless.
