The Prodigy

Director
Nicholas McCarthy
Certificate
15
Running Time
92 mins

Yet another creepy kid horror, this third flick from The Pact director Nicholas McCarthy casts Taylor Schilling as the hapless mom of a friendless child genius who begins to exhibit odd behaviour.

Fortunately, psychologist Colm Feore has an explanation: the lad is clearly in the grip of a demonic reincarnated entity, having been afflicted by bad karma. Isn’t it grand that they teach this stuff in Movie Psychology School? All the usual ensues.
