Director

Certificate

Running Time
99 mins

The Girl on the Train director Tate Taylor reunites with his The Help star Octavia Spencer for this latest contribution to the Blumhouse horror mountain.

She plays a loner called Sue Ann who befriends a bunch of miscreant teens and invites them to hang out in her basement. Inevitably, there are some rules. One of them must remain sober at all times, they must never swear or go upstairs, and they should call her ‘Ma’. You do not need to be familiar with genre conventions to predict what’s likely to happen next.
