David Lynch’s cult (i.e. largely impenetrable) debut from 1976: the story of a bloke with an unusual haircut (Jack Nance) who finds himself the father of a creepy monster. Or something. Rarely screened today, this was an arthouse staple back in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
It’s back on screen in the Watershed’s Peter Strickland and the Scala Sunday brunch season to accompany the release of In Fabric.
