No question about it: what the world needs right now is a ‘reboot’ of the original 1988 killer doll movie that spawned six sequels and a TV series, one of which was, somewhat fancifully, blamed by grateful tabloid newspapers for inspiring at least two real-life murders.
This time round, Mark Hamill gets to voice pint-sized psycho Chucky, who’s undergone something of a high-tech makeover as a toy robot.
