New York cousins Vincent (Jesse Eisenberg) and Anton (Alexander Skarsgård) set out to make their fortunes by building a straight fibre-optic cable line between Kansas and New Jersey.
If the prospect of a nerdy, slap-headed Skarsgård and a grey-haired Salma Hayek as the duo’s former boss isn’t enticing enough, this is the first drama to be set in the, ahem, intoxicating world of “high-frequency trading”. It’s certainly peculiar enough to feel as though it might be based on a true story. But it isn’t.
