Marianne (Laetitia Costa) and Abel’s (director Louis Garrel) relationship becomes a tad complicated when she dumps him for his best mate – and father of her unborn child – Paul. Awkward! Eight years on, Paul has just carked it and Abel meets Marianne once again at his funeral. Naturally, his hopes are raised that they can pick up where they left off, but there are multiple complicating factors, not the least of which are the come-ons by the dead man’s younger sister (Lily-Rose Depp, daughter of you-know-who).
