An award-winning, partly crowdfunded documentary following the lives of Osaka couple Masafumi Yoshida and Kazuyuki Minami, who run Japan’s first openly gay law firm.
By introducing some of their clients – including a teacher who was fired for refusing to sing the national anthem and the artist Rokudenashiko, who fell foul of strict obscenity laws with her fabulous vagina art – the film also explores the treatment of minorities and dissenters in a rigidly conformist society.
