Yet another gender-swap remake, anybody? Yep, after Ocean’s 8, Ghostbusters and What Men Want, here’s another empowering/opportunistic reworking of an old favourite.

This one takes its plot from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which was in turn a remake of 1964’s Bedtime with Marlon Brando and David Niven. So instead of Michael Caine and Steve Martin scamming rich women on the French Riviera, gender equality progress brings us Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson setting out to con tech tycoon Alex Sharp out of his billions. Behind the camera is Chris Addison, making his directorial debut.
