Rubbish piles up in Bristol parks after Bank Holiday
Brandon Hill had the infamous distinction of being Bristol’s most litter-strewn city centre park on Monday evening.
While the last of the Bank Holiday revellers continued drinking and barbecuing as the sun began to set, the evidence of a sunny three days was sadly all too clear to see.
Despite Bristol Waste putting out more bins and people urged to take their rubbish home with them, it was sometimes still a challenge for too many people to find one if a permanent bin was already overflowing.
