Raising funds for transformation of M32 underpass

By Georgia Gillespie  Monday Jun 26, 2017

With only days left until their deadline, litterARTI are still looking to raise £3,000 to help restore the M32 underpass that has fallen into disrepair, with pollution and litter issues.

Although the presence of skateboarders, regularly using the free, DIY skatepark has reduced drug use in the area, the vast amounts of litter and fumes from the busy road above has plunged the area into general disrepair.

Aiming to create a safe, eco-friendly environment, the not-for-profit organisation started raising money for the Better Bristol campaign towards the start of June but are still short of their target, with their deadline set for June 29.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

They are asking people to pledge and donate to help turn their ideas, including more lighting, more greenery and planting, and to clear up fly-tipping in the river, into a reality.
