In photos: community garden celebrations in Southville

As autumn draws closer, so does the harvest of apples.

In Southville, a community garden took full advantage and enjoyed a day of apple pressing.

The event on Saturday was ran by Patchwork Community Gardening Group, a group of Bedminster and Southville residents who meet regularly to turn neglected patches of land into community gardens.

It was followed by the 10th birthday celebrations of Dame Emily Park Community Garden which saw live music, crafts, cake and marshmallow roasting.
