Footpath closed due to falling masonry
A footpath close to a primary school has been temporarily closed due to falling masonry from a nearby building.
Polygon Lane connects Hope Chapel Hill in Hotwells with Cornwallis Crescent in Clifton, with a short stretch of the path now fenced off next to Hope Chapel.
The masonry landed on the path on Friday morning with noticeable dents taken out of the surface.

In a letter to parents and carers before the path was closed, Hotwells Primary School headteacher Kee Jones warned people to take an alternative route.
Jones wrote: “There is a large pile of dangerous stones and debris which appear to have fallen from a roof nearby and if any further falls happen they could seriously injure someone.”
