BAR WOTEVER BRISTOL: The world’s longest-running queer cabaret night comes to Bristol for three nights only. 8pm, Wardrobe Theatre, £8/£6.
GHOST IN THE SHELL: A screening of one of Japan’s classic sci-fi animation films, set in 2029 when humans live in a virtual reality and questions existence in a fast-paced information age. 8pm, Cube.
JOSHUA JELLY-SCHAPIRO: A talk from the writer of ‘Island People: The Caribbean and The World’ on the history of the Caribbean from 1492 to the era of Che Guevara. 7pm, Waterstones, £6/£4.
JACKIE: Natalie Portman plays the First Lady in this psychological drama covering Kennedy’s assassination and its aftermath. Various films and cinema, rated 15.

NATTY: The reggae singer-songwriter from North-London plays his first gig on his UK tour right here in Bristol. 7.30pm, The Fleece, £12.50.
ROBERT FOSTER SOLVE ET COAGULA: Sculptural and photographic works inspired by esotericism, abstract knowledge and his experiences in Iceland. 12-5pm, Spike Island Test Space, free entry.
