Priormade

By Made In Bristol  Thursday Oct 25, 2018

Designer Beck Prior, of Priormade, uses recycled, reclaimed and low impact materials to create bold and colourful homeware. Priormade’s ethos is to, where possible, re-purpose materials into creative products that delight and surprise, so intricate feather earrings are made from discarded bicycle inner tubes and delicate wooden jewellery is formed from an old church pew.

Earrings made from inner tubes by Priormade, each with the story of how they popped included. Price: £22 (range from: £18 – 25).

The planters and lights are made from sustainably-sourced plywood and all the products are individually made by hand in Beck’s studio in Bristol.

Geo pendant lamps and mini geo vessel made using sustainable, low impact and recycled materials by Priormade. Prices: Lamps £130; mini geo vessel £12.50 (£15 with plant).

Beck Prior says: “We believe that products should be beautiful and responsibly made. Great design, high quality and an ethical stance can co-exist.”
