Monday is a fun day to grab a friend and treat yourself to the Taiwanese tea sensation that’s sweeping the nation. Bubble Tea is a tea based drink infused with different flavours and mixed with your choice of toppings, such as tapioca pearls, fruit popping bubbles, and also coconut jellies. Cupp is no knock off either, they only use quality loose leaf tea, make their own fresh fruit puree in store and only fresh milk or soya goes in their milk bubble teas. The tea is sealed in a gargantuan Cup (hence the extra ‘p’), perfect for tea transportation and accompanied by a huge straw(w).

Fresh to Wriggle, Catch 22 have captured the Park Street faithful with their superb quality Fish and Chips and a selection of other mediterranean seafood tapas. With us it’s the classic Fish and Chips, freshly caught cod, hand tossed in their homemade lightly seasoned batter and fried fresh to order, and chip-wise they’ve cracked the golden ratio, one part fluff to one part golden crisp. Be sure to grab a bottle of the house white too as you wash down the ultimate gourmet fish and chip experience.

PAPER Cafe is part of the PAPER Arts collective, bringing to Broadmead a socially conscious escape from the identikit chains you usually associate with a city-centre shopping hotspot. It’s run by a team of dedicated, independently minded Baristas, committed to serving quality coffee and fantastic food. With us you can get any home-made baguette or sandwich and a coffee of your choosing. Perfect for a leisurely café lunch, an on-the-go bite or (if you’re office bound) something slightly more al-desko. The coffee is great, and there are are a range of delicious sarnie fillings to choose from: Think Avocado, Hummous and Tomato or perhaps Beetroot, Goats Cheese and Tzatziki on Wholemeal Bloomer bread. Leaning towards a baguette instead? You won’t go wrong with the Stilton, Apple & Pear Chutney in Malted Wheat.

The Little Taqueria have drawn influence from all around Central America, with a mission to provide a more authentic range of the Mexican staple. Everything is made in-house, their delicious salsas, Belizean frijoles, chunky guacamole, and even their soft, gluten-free corn tortillas, that are freshly pressed each morning. You can choose one portion of 2 freshly prepared tacos, with a range of options for both meaties and veggies. Make Thursday lunch a Mayan adventure.

Bagel Boy’s Gloucester Road porched premise has become somewhat of an idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of the City Centre venue and its various other pop ups, and what a way to welcome in the weekend there than with a Bagel, Beer and Chips for £6 a head! We’re big fans of the “Independent Boy” (Bacon, Guacamole and Cream Cheese), but there’s a mad selection to pick from at this shooting star of Bristolian fast food.
Saturday 1st

The White Rabbit have only been around for one year but they’ve clearly left a more than positive mark on the Clifton Pizza scene. The White Rabbit extols the virtues of a true Italian Pizzeria, with all of its imported ingredients Denominazione di Origine Protetta. Since opening, Max and his rabbits and have added to the roof terrace and craft beer. To max your Saturday out we recommend the Lumberjack Pizza (Mozzarella, no sauce, porcini mushrooms, truffle cream, speck & parsley) a pint of Good Chemistry all enjoyed from the roof terrace.

Sausage, Cheesy Egg soufflé & Buttermilk Biscuit + Any Drink

Deep South US style home cooking, delivered in a beautiful, light and airy space with plenty of foliage and smiles. Owned and run by Oliver, this truly is a hidden gem; great grub at reasonable prices and lovely folks. Pick up the deep south brunch of a lifetime – their home-baked buttermilk biscuit packed with a herby sausage patty and cheesy egg soufflé – rounded off with any drink – we certainly recommend one of their Extract coffee Mississippi Muds (there’s also cracking ice tea, too). Add bacon, spicy beans and/or gravy for a little extra (highly recommend the beans).
