A-Z Bristol Pub Crawl: The Farm, St Werburgh’s
Entering through a narrow gate and passing a large outdoor seating area that could rival any country pub, a sign at the Farm catches the eye, reminding patrons to be mindful of the neighbours while enjoying a drink.
The giant mural on the wall is an open invitation, an idyllic depiction of cows grazing here in St Werburgh’s once upon a time.
St Werburgh’s itself is a hideaway among the hustle and bustle of modern Bristol, with the Farm pub and the next door city farm at the heart of this close-knit community.
is needed now More than ever
On a recent Wednesday evening, it was karaoke night at the Farm with an added Valentine’s Day theme of red hearts and tinsels adorning the interior.
The snug bar area was bustling, with patrons claiming the best seats near the performances.

Every second Wednesday of the month is the karaoke night at the Farm
One spectator chose a pint of Neck Oil and settled into one corner, soaking up the atmosphere.
The participants, eager and without pretence, threw themselves into their singing – with each performer able to enjoy a free pint.
A rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s Gypsy by two young women stole the show.
“Would you like another?” asked the barman. Why not? It’s karaoke until last orders.
