Meet the stellar chefs cooking at Bristol Legends

By Karen Johnson  Tuesday Mar 3, 2026

Artists, musicians, restaurant, pub and bar owners, chefs, charities, sustainability and business leaders: the list of legendary names joining the Bristol Legends Awards ceremony on Friday is long. And for a room filled with so many legendary Bristol names, it only seems fit to have a meal that is unforgettable, top-notch and cooked by the very best.

Co-owner of The Pony Group, which boasts an impressive portfolio of restaurants and pubs in Bristol and beyond, Josh Eggleton will be leading the menu for the evening.

“We’ve got Ben Harvey from the Bianchis Group, we’ve got my team in, we’ve got Square Food Foundation and we’ve got Hannah Catley from Catley’s to do the dessert,” said Josh, when speaking about collaborating with others in the city for the menu. “It’s a nice collaboration of the city.”

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!

The menu for the evening includes multi-roasted beetroot with yoghurt and bitter leaves for starters, braised beef glazed in beer with horseradish mash, carrots and marmite for mains, and a sticky toffee pudding and chocolate hybrid for dessert.

Speaking about the inaugural Legends event and its collaboration with Anti Banquet, Josh said: “It’s just really about wanting to represent the community and bring people together. If we have the ability to do it, then we should.”

Just to be able to work in a team of people who are like-minded, that’s always a nice touch.” For Hannah, an event like Bristol Legends is a chance to showcase Bristol’s community and collaboration.
