Bristol distillery makes own hand sanitisers using gin botanicals
With hand sanitisers in high demand thanks to fears about the coronavirus, a distillery in Kingsdown wanted some for their team.
After finding everywhere they looked had sold out, they made some themselves with ethanol, gin botanicals and aloe vera gel.

“We made more than we need as we figured other people might want some too,” said Danny Walker, co-founder of Psychopomp on St Michael’s Hill.
“If you need some pop in grab some from the distillery. We have a few glass bottles, but bring your own spray/pump bottles if you can as we don’t want to add to the plastic problem.”

Psychopomp will be asking for donations in exchange for the sanitisers, 100 per cent of which will be going to charity.
“Because there is a special place in hell for people who profit from others’ misfortune,” Danny added.
