Review: Clara La San, Electric – ‘A powerful reminder of how music can bring people together’

By Lauren Burrows  Thursday Apr 9, 2026

Clara La San’s performance at Electric Bristol was nothing short of incredible.

The 33 year old from Manchester began her career by uploading tracks to Soundcloud while at university.

She is known for her alternative R&B and bedroom-pop style with hints of 90s trip-hop influenced beats. Her delicate, otherworldly vocals and moody, synth-heavy sound have made a mark across the world.

Before Clara came on stage, an ambient DJ set built the atmosphere but by the end the audience was getting restless.

A diverse crowd, ranging from young fans to older generations, lifelong followers to new listeners, had come together, united by their shared love of the artist’s music.

After a long wait, Clara La San came on stage and the audience immediately erupted with joy. She started her performance by playing Another Night, exciting everybody.

From her confidence and beautiful vocals, it is clear Clara is a natural performer. Between songs she showed her appreciation for her large fanbase, thanking them many times.

A highlight of the show was In This Darkness which really tied the audience together in their love for the song. Hundreds of voices joined in unison, echoing every lyric with passion and enthusiasm.

It was an incredible moment for the fans, a powerful reminder of how music can bring people together.

Another stand out moment was Clara playing the piano while delivering her song, Solo.

The soft, echoing chords filled the venue, and her voice carried a raw emotion that captivated everyone in the room. It was easily the most moving moment of the night, giving the audience a chance to connect with her on a deeper level.

The peak of the concert was the performance of Feel Good, as almost every person seemed to know the lyrics. The song is a clear fan favourite and it gave a memorable finish to the show.

The evening perfectly demonstrated Clara La San’s artistry and stage presence, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
