Wildscreen issues call for entries to 2022 Panda Awards

By Robin Askew  Friday Jan 14, 2022

Entries are now open for the Wildscreen Festival‘s 40th birthday edition of the Panda Awards, celebrating excellence in natural world storytelling.

The official selection is open to local and international filmmakers with stories to tell about nature. Cash prizes of £3,000 are available. The deadline for entries is April 14, but submissions received before February 24 are eligible for a reduced early bird entry fee.

In addition to the usual production categories, Wildscreen also launches a new Sustainability Award this year in recognition of concerns about the environmental impact of natural world filmmaking. The aim is to showcase those adopting innovative sustainability practises at every stage of production.
