It’s a second week at the top for Dune: Part II, which will have surpassed the £22.1m total haul of the first film by now. Only one new entry made it into the top five: poorly received Blumhouse horror Imaginary. The big event cinema release Titanic – The Musical, a recording of the multiple Tony Award-winning stage musical, managed to avoid those ‘sank without trace’ jibes by reaching seventh place. Below that, Wonka is still clinging on and has just overtaken The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring to claim 25th place in the UK all-time chart. Next week, we’ll find out whether those Oscar wins for the likes of Oppenheimer and The Zone of Interest have translated into any measurable box office boost.
