Sanitised and deferential Bob Marley biopic One Love skanked decisively to the top of the chart at the weekend, underlining the popularity of the music biopic genre. It’s currently ahead of Elvis, but behind Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman. Migration slipped into second place, despite recording an 11% half-term increase in takings. Also enjoying a half-term boost was Wonka, which bounded back into the top five. At number three, Madame Web was the second of this week’s two new entries, enjoying a particularly feeble opening by superhero movie standards. At the foot of the chart, slowburning romcom Anyone But You finally powered past the £10m barrier after eight weeks on release.
