Bristol publisher issues call for poetry submissions

Burning Eye Books, the award winning Bristol poetry publisher, have launched a poetry competition for unpublished UK BAME writers over the age of 25.

Three poets will have their work published in pamphlet form by Burning Eye Books in 2019.

The competition closing date is July 1 2018, and submissions will be judged by celebrated Bristol poet Shagufta K Iqbal (pictured).

As well as being rewarded with a publishing deal, the three winning poets will be invited to perform their work at a special launch event in Bristol.
