Introducing… Printed Goods

By Steve Wright  Wednesday Dec 5, 2018

Twin brothers George and Raphael Greaves, from Southville, founded Printed Goods as a collaborative creative project, featuring their own design products alongside those of other designers they admire.

They now design and produce a range of unique prints, clothing and home accessories, which they sell both online and at their new store at the recently-founded Totterdown Centre on Wells Road.

We are twin brothers George and Raphael Greaves. We grew up in Southville, Bristol, and both studied Illustration at university.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!

We founded Printed Goods in 2015 as a collaborative creative project, with the ambition to combine our practice as designers with our passion for high-quality lifestyle products.

With an intuitive, aesthetically-driven approach and bold, graphic style, we now design and produce a range of unique prints, clothing and home accessories.

Our online shop, printedgoods.net, is growing rapidly and our designs are now stocked in independent shops around the world. This success has meant we have been able to open our first bricks-and-mortar shop, in the former Totterdown Centre on Wells Road. The shop sits side by side with our design studio.

A serendipitous turn of events meant we were able to secure the space. With increasing amounts of stock, we needed a larger studio space and were also keen to open a shop. We were chatting this through at home one evening while our landlord fixed the TV. He overheard our conversation and explained he was planning on buying the former Totterdown Centre. The rest is history…

Our landlord worked tirelessly to transform the building, which had been derelict for years. It is now a beautiful, functional space and we have complimented it with custom-built furniture.

Our strapline is ‘art for the everyday’ and each product in the shop has been chosen to encapsulate this ethos – beautiful, thoughtfully designed homeware and lifestyle products that serve a purpose. We stock our own designs alongside products from other like-minded brands including Puebco, Tender Stores, Sophie Alda and Emilio Braga.

We will be expanding our range of stock in the next couple of months, as well as running a rich variety of creative workshops. We will be running our own workshops, as well as collaborating with Bristol-based creatives. We will be advertising these events on our Instagram, so keep an eye out @printedgoods

Printed Goods is based at the Totterdown Centre, 144 Wells Road, Totterdown, BS4 2AG, and is open Wednesday to Sunday, 11am-6pm. For more info, visit printedgoods.net
