Help Pablo find a house
Georgie Rowbotham from Bishopston has launched a gofundme campaign to help her friend and local Big Issue seller Pablo find a house before Christmas.
The campaign aims to raise enough money for a deposit on a flat and first two months rent for Pablo.
Pablo has lived in Bristol for 12 years, and has been homeless for the whole of that time. Known and loved for selling the Big Issue to the Bristol community, Georgie is hoping to give something back to him.
Before becoming homeless, Pablo was a skilled chef and having a permanent address would help him to fulfil his dream of one day returning to the kitchen.
“Nobody deserves to be out in the cold, particularly at this time of year”, says Georgie, and it is hoped that Pablo will be spending this Christmas in a warm, dry place that he can call his own.
