Unicorn spotted in Millennium Square

There was a unicorn, two soldiers playing a fanfare and a giant inflatable slide on the Lloyds Amphitheatre.

The reason behind this unusual combination will be revealed on Saturday evening in Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway on ITV 1.

About the height of a three-storey building, the slide had three New York-style yellow taxis attached to ropes, a pool of water, dangling giant keys and colourful suitcases at the finish.

It was ringed by fences and security, and surrounded by dozens of lights ready for the live primetime television audience.
