Dismaland tickets sell out in under an hour

By Annalise Jones  Tuesday Aug 25, 2015

Tickets for the first 10 days of Banksy’s Dismaland exhibition sold out in less than an hour.

Hundreds of thousands of people logged onto the website which was relaunched on Tuesday after it crashed last week.

The website offers tickets for £3 to two slots each day, up to 10 days in advance.

Some evening slots include music and comedy. This Friday’s sold-out special is with Peanut Butter Wolf, Breakbeat Lou and DJ Yoda, who will be performing until 1am, when the park closes.

On normal days, entry into the dystopian fairytale site is from 11am-6pm and 7pm-11pm. The site has a capacity to hold 2,000 people.

Thousands have already visited Weston-super-Mare to try their luck queuing for tickets while the website was down.

More tickets, as they become available, can be bought from the Dismaland website.
