Vic & Bob’s Bristol show cancelled
Vic and Bob’s 25 years of Reeves and Mortimer show at Colston Hall has been cancelled after it was revealed Bob Mortimer has undergone heart surgery.
Mortimer had a successful triple bypass heart operation, meaning the two shows scheduled for Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 have been pulled.
There are currently no plans to reschedule the shows, a spokesperson said. Ticket holders for the sold out shows will be able to get a full refund from Colston Hall.
Further tour dates for 25 Years of Reeves and Mortimer – The Poignant Moments are still due to go ahead in January and February.
A spokesperson for Bob Mortimer, said: “Bob would like to thank his Consultant and all the nursing staff at the hospital for looking after him so well.
“He now needs several weeks to fully recover, so unfortunately the first leg of the UK tour will be cancelled.
“Bob very much hopes to be fit and well enough to perform the second leg in January next year.”
Vic Reeves said: “I’m so pleased the operation has gone well and Bob is fixed. Many thanks to the surgeon.”
