A slick political thriller from Danish first-time feature director Ulaa Salim, set in the aftermath of a devastating terrorist bomb attack on Copenhagen in 2025.
As the country turns increasingly anti-Islamic, resentful Iraq-born teen Zakaria (Mohammed Ismail Mohammed) finds himself recruited to assassinate a right-wing demagogue. There’s some dramatic clumsiness and implausibility in the script, but Salim’s confident and stylish direction marks him as a filmmaker to watch.
