Lee (Xiao Yang) and his wife Jade (Tan Zhuo) are Chinese nationals who run a small company Thailand, living an idyllic life with their two lovely daughters. Alas, the eldest of these manages to murder the sexually abusive son of local police chief Lawan (Joan Chen). To protect his daughter and family, Lee disposes of the body and constructs an elaborate alibi. But Lawan is burning for vengeance.

Screened with English subtitles, this Mandarin/Thai-language thriller is actually a remake of the 2013 Indian Malayalam-language drama Drishyam. It was a huge success in China, earning a place among the top ten box office hits of 2019.
