Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds hoof and holler amid the precipitation in this venerable 1952 musical. The story’s not bad too, being a parody of the early days of new-fangled sound productions in Hollywood in the wake of The Jazz Singer.
This Compass Presents expanded cinema event at the Spiegelent promises to be a fully immersive experience, which forms part of the BFI Musicals! The Greatest Show on Screen season. Working alongside them are circus producers Cirque Bijou, dancers Tap Attack and projection mapping specialists Limbic Cinema. The screening itself will be preceded by a formal two-course dinner.
