The barefoot, grey-haired, grey-suited former Talking Heads frontman’s 2019 Broadway Show is brought to the big screen by Spike Lee in this HBO concert film.

Backed by a full band, Byrne runs through material from his solo album of the same title, with a smattering of old Talking Heads hits (no Psycho Killer, though) in what should be a treat for fans of both his music and his funny, angular dance moves.

The Watershed’s preview screenings on October 18 are part of the BFI London Film Festival… in Bristol season.
