How do you expand a successful TV comedy for the big screen? Ever since the 1970s, the answer has been the same: pack the cast off, generally overseas, for a fish-out-of-water romp. Who could forget the Are you Being Served? film or Holiday on the Buses?

Now it’s the turn of the BBC mockumentary about pirate radio station Korupt FM. After five TV series, the crew set off for Japan where one of their tracks is being used on a popular game show.
