When mute nipper Dylan (Ezra Dewey) comes across a Book of Shadows, he naturally performs a ritual that conjures up a djinn. Wishes now apparently being at a premium, the supernatural being offers him just one, so he naturally asks for the ability to speak. But, obviously, there’s a price to be paid. . .
This being rather a low-budget horror, the sparing CGI and practical effects are rather cheap and cheerful and the djinn is obliged to take human form for most of the film.
