Frogs + surprise film

Running Time
91 mins

Grouchy old southern patriarch Ray Milland invites his extended family to attend his big waterside birthday bash. But what they don’t anticipate is that the local critters have had their fill of his zealous overuse of pesticides. So the amphibian community recruit their snake, snapping turtle and bug chums to initiate a revolt in this pleasingly overwrought contribution to the 1970s nature’s revenge horror cycle. Watch out for Sam Elliott as a photographer who gets caught up in the melee.

As if that wasn’t fun enough, the Hellfire Video Club follow Frogs with another ’70s eco-horror. The title of this one hasn’t been disclosed, but we do know that it’ll be a shark vengeance flick.
