Made a year before Home Alone but boasting pretty much the same plot (with more bloodshed and Rambo references), this cult 1989 French festive romp was previously only available in dodgy VHS bootleg form. Now it’s finally been given a proper release to delight gorehounds and trash freaks everywhere. As one excited critic put it: “To say ‘this shit is nuts’ would be an understatement.”
