A remake of Bob Clark‘s splendid 1974 Canadian festive slasher? Haven’t we already had one of those? Indeed we have. Back in 2006, the first remake had teen maniac Billy escaping from the nuthatch to come ‘home for the holidays’, only to find that his old house is now a college sorority stuffed with comely student babes who lounge around in their underwear waiting to be slaughtered.

Now clearly we can’t have that sort of shameful sexist nonsense these days. So this Blumhouse version is written and directed by women and has the hottie class of 2019 (Imogen Poots, etc) giving the psycho a taste of his own medicine.
