Felix and the Hidden Treasure

Director
Nicola Lemay
Certificate
PG
Running Time
93 mins

Twelve-year-old Felix’s dad disappeared at sea two year’s ago, but our pint-sized hero is convinced he’s still alive. So he embarks on a quest to track him down, with a little help from a thieving one-legged parrot, a cat that thinks it’s a dog and, er, a bearded older gentlemen (Old Tom, a retired fisherman, apparently).

Their journey takes them to Darkshadow Island, where a secret community inhabits an underground city, ruled by the megalomaniacal Morgaa, possessor of a priceless treasure. This French-Canadian animation is the feature directorial debut by Nicola Lemay, who previously worked as a story artist on Blue Sky animations Rio and Epic.
