Just when you thought you’d wrapped your head round this K-Pop phenomenon, along comes another act that’s managed to beocme huge without anyone over the age of 14 noticing. Not to be confused with BTS (a boy band) or BTK (an American serial killer), Blackpink now apparently rank as the biggest girl band in the world having made inroads into the charts globally.
Rather like BTS, they’re also setting out to raid their fans’ pocket money with big screen releases. Following last year’s Netflix film Blackpink: Light Up the Sky, Blackpink The Movie celebrates the first five successful years of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa.
